Terms
These are the terms for using Portfolio Tracker, run by Finding Freedom Trading. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. See the Privacy Notice for how your data is handled.
The service
Portfolio Tracker is an informational tool: it tracks positions you enter (or import), calculates technical zones/trend lines from public price history, and can generate Fundamental Analysis reports on request. It is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and Finding Freedom Trading is not a licensed investment adviser or broker-dealer. You have to accept the informational-use disclaimer before using the app, and can review it again anytime from the footer, this section doesn't replace that disclaimer, it summarizes the same point.
Accounts and access
- This app is invite-only, for a closed group rather than the general public.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials to yourself.
- Accounts are for individual use, except where two people have specifically set up a shared household portfolio (see the User Guide), which is done on request, not self-service.
- Finding Freedom Trading can suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, is used to abuse the service, or is inactive alongside a lapsed subscription.
Subscription, billing, and cancellation
Paid access is sold and billed entirely through Whop, a third-party platform. Finding Freedom Trading never sees or stores your card or payment details directly, Whop handles that. Your plan, price, billing cycle, and renewal are whatever you agreed to at checkout on Whop.
To cancel, downgrade, or manage billing, do so from your Whop account, not from inside this app, the app itself has no cancellation button because it doesn't control billing. Refunds are governed by Whop's own refund policy and handled through Whop's support, not by Finding Freedom Trading directly. When your subscription lapses or is cancelled, this app's access is turned off (your data isn't deleted just for that, see the Privacy Notice for how long data is kept).
Your right to withdraw (EEA subscribers)
If you're in the European Economic Area, distance-selling rules normally give you 14 days to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason. Because this app gives you working access right away rather than after a waiting period, subscribing means you're asking us to start providing the service immediately, and acknowledging that this right ends once the service has been fully performed, and is reduced proportionately for a rolling subscription the longer you've already had access to it. If you cancel before you've used any paid access, you're entitled to a full refund; once you've had access, refunds follow Whop's refund policy above rather than the withdrawal right. This section is a good-faith summary, not a substitute for advice on your specific consumer-protection rights where you live.
Acceptable use
By using the app, you agree not to:
- Redistribute, resell, or publish data or reports from the app (including Fundamental Analysis reports) outside of the household-sharing feature it's built for.
- Scrape, automate, or place unreasonable load on the app outside normal use.
- Try to bypass role, plan, or rate limits (like the weekly report cap).
- Share your login with anyone outside a household you've set up to share it with.
- Use the app for anything illegal, or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it for other users.
If you find a security issue, please report it to findingfreedomtrading@gmail.com rather than exploiting it.
Third-party data and content
Prices, news, fundamentals, and other market data shown in the app come from third-party sources (see the Privacy Notice's "Who else sees it" section for the full list). Finding Freedom Trading doesn't independently verify this data and can't guarantee it's accurate, complete, or up to date, that's true even where the app labels something as "live," since it depends on those upstream sources.
No warranty, limitation of liability
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, including uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent the law allows, Finding Freedom Trading isn't liable for investment losses, decisions you make using the app, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from using it. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited (for example, liability for fraud).
Changes to the service or these terms
Finding Freedom Trading may change, suspend, or discontinue the app, including with limited or no notice, since this is a small, non-commercial project rather than a company with guaranteed continuity. If these terms change meaningfully, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will change; if the informational-use disclaimer itself changes, you'll be asked to accept the new version before continuing to use the app.
Governing law
This section is intentionally left open. A specific governing law and jurisdiction should be added here once these terms have been reviewed by a lawyer, rather than asserting one without that review.
